Studying in the UK isn't just about “applying for a degree.” Different universities, courses, and research directions can shape your career, your relocation plans, and your life choices for years to come. This is a one-to-one consultation built around strategic planning.
This service is for anyone planning to study a Master's, MPhil, PhD, or EdD in the UK — especially if you:

“I want to help people plan their UK study path with more clarity and more strategy — not just follow the crowd.”
Connie has been based in the UK for seven years. She's currently completing an EdD (Doctor of Education) at the University of Nottingham, holds an MA from the University of Liverpool, and is PGCE qualified. She's also the founder of Couch Potato Education, with years of focus on English education and teacher training. From Hong Kong to the UK, from a Master's to a doctorate — Connie understands the trade-offs and strategy behind every step of a study abroad journey, and that's exactly what she hopes to pass on to every client through this consultation.
A personalised study strategy
Recommended application routes and universities
A clear application timeline
A summary of next steps
This is a one-to-one study strategy consultation that helps you clarify your direction, university selection strategy, and application timeline. It is not an application handling service and does not fill out forms on your behalf. The aim is to build the right study route for you before you commit tuition and time.
It is designed for anyone planning to study a Master's, MPhil, PhD, or EdD in the UK, regardless of where you are based.
The consultation is a 90-minute one-to-one session. Launch pricing is HKD 2,980 for the first 20 clients, rising to HKD 4,980 afterwards.
Three parts: background analysis (education, work experience, career goals), study strategy (programme type, subject direction, university selection, and an initial competitiveness assessment), and an action plan (application timeline, Personal Statement and CV guidance, and initial Research Proposal direction where relevant).
Yes. The service is designed for people who are still deciding on a course or university, as well as those with work experience who want a long-term academic and career plan.
You will leave with a personalised study strategy, recommended application routes and university directions, a clear application timeline, and a summary of next steps.
The brand isn't limited to a single “application service” — it's an evolving, premium education strategy consultancy.
Beyond strategy consultations, Connie continues to offer English education and teacher training content through Couch Potato Education.
